Northern Water Headquarters
Set in the foothills of Berthoud, Colorado, the Northern Water headquarters serves as a regional hub for water management and education. The campus includes offices, maintenance facilities, and public features like the Conservation Gardens and Interpretive Area. The architecture reflects Northern Water’s mission, with a focus on natural materials, daylight, and strong visual connections to the landscape. At the center of the building, a circular atrium features a skylight and radial wood ceiling, supported by a ring of vertical columns. Suspended within this geometry, Duo 6 fixtures are arranged in a matching circular array, echoing the architectural rhythm while providing both uplight and downlight to enhance the space’s volume and warmth. A total of sixty Duo 6 cylinders were installed throughout the project, including the atrium and meeting spaces. Using powerline technology, each fixture combines mounting and power into a single clean connection, eliminating visible cabling and supporting the clean, modern design.
