Arlington ACTIV Center

The City of Arlington recently celebrated the grand opening of the ACTIV Center, a cutting-edge 73,000-square-foot recreation facility designed for adults ages 50 and older. The project incorporated more than 80 Meteor Lighting Whiz 2.0 Architectural High Bay luminaires across its full-court gymnasium and natatorium spaces.

In the multi-purpose gymnasium, 32 fixtures provide bright, uniform illumination with enhanced visual comfort and glare control, creating an inviting environment for recreational activities. Demonstrating the luminaire's versatility, an additional 55 fixtures are installed throughout the natatorium, where its IP65 and natatorium-rated construction supports long-term performance in high-moisture environments.
