The IES Annual Conference is a fantastic event that provides a range of educational programming on the art, design, science, and research of lighting relevant to lighting professionals, educators, and related design disciplines. Meteor Lighting was once again invited to present 3 of our newly launched luminaires to the judges.
All 3 product submissions were recognized by the judges as a Unique and Significant Advancement to the Art and Science of Lighting, which is a tremendous honor and achievement for us and shows the effort we put in creating the best products for the industry.
Our Whiz 2.0 Architectural High Ceiling luminaire impressed the judges with its performance capability with a lumen package of up to 35,400 lm, it's uplight versatility and it's natatorium rating option. This is 2 home runs already, having also won the LFI 2019 Innovation Award in May.
Both the Duo 4 and Duo 6 was also recognized by the committee for it's sleek, functional design as well as superior performance. In the performance category, the Duo has a lumen package range higher than any other direct/indirect luminaires at 4 or 6 inch apertures. The use of our POWER LINE SYSTEM™ technology that is Power Cord-Free was also noted to be very unique. We even demonstrated the Tunable White Option to the judges!
